Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel meets 2001: A Space Odyssey PlayNFacts

“Surprise Surprise, an Easter Egg from Borderlands and…………… Many More to come!”-CutieRoo

As we explore the world of Borderlands: The  Pre-Sequel many Easter Eggs come to shine in the light. Be aware for this particular Easter Egg; you need to be a level that is appropriate because the enemies are around 8-12 levels.

For those who watched 2001: A Space Odyssey, this is a nice surprise because you get to be able to interact with a glowing purple object! It is rad from the moment you see the place, to the very end, but it does have references to the film. Not only do you get to reminisce in the location, but you get to step inside the purple lengthy rectangle that takes you to places that you cannot be despaired by.

Once you step into the purple object, you get teleported into a trippy light-show tunnel; dumping you into a sandy and rocky area. Supposedly, people think this place as Earth due to the oxygen and breathing indicators.

Jump back in for a second round because there will be another teleportation too…a white room with two pictures hanging and a chest full of loot to obtain! Go back again for the last time to teleport and watch how your evolution ends. OR is it the beginning of evolution? You get to watch a cut scene of  a human character in the fetal position *does not work with Claptrap being in a bubble, tried with my character*. After all that teleportation, the Monolith no longer works for you in that moment.

Now you know the Easter Egg, try it for yourself! Go to Triton flats then travel to Stanton’s Liver with the jump pad. When you enter the area, travel the rocky terrain to look over the rock platform and notice to your right that there is a jump pad glowing. Get the courage to make a huge leap over the lava, and then you enter into the Ventricles. Jump down into the cave below and follow the train tracks, continue onwards to the back of the cave and jump into a narrow tunnel and follow it to reach Higgin’s Gully, deal with the enemies and go to your destination called Monolithness (kinda)!
